Intel Assabet Groundwater Recharge Fund

The $1.5 million Intel Assabet Groundwater Recharge Fund supports projects that directly recharge water that would otherwise be piped into a stormwater system or discharged straight into a stream or river. These projects will increase the amount of groundwater available during dry periods to maintain the base flow of the river and its tributaries. OAR provides administrative support to the Fund and manages the proposal process. Completed projects and funding opportunities can be found on the following pages.
