Dean Park	The beginning of Hop Brook
Hop Brook, a medium-sized Assabet tributary, tumbles out of a culvert that draws from the lake in Shrewsbury's Dean Park.
Hop Brook just before it flows under School St.	Ski Ward Ski Area
It makes its way under School St. and Greenleaf Farms Circle, following behind the curve of Spring St before flowing under Main St and through the Ski Ward Ski Area.
Multiflora roses by the brook	Smith Pond
The stream continues through a tangle of multiflora roses and some small tree plantations, where it enters Northborough and travels through a large patch of roadless land (hence the lack of pictures!). After passing under Rt. 20, it enters Smith Pond...

...and then flows over the dam by Armeno Coffee Grinders, out past the StreamWatch gaging site, behind a residential neighborhood, by the Indian Meadows golf course, and into the Assabet River.
